Call for Tender for Consulting Services to Assist in the Preparation of a Regional Study "Gobitec and the Asian Super Grid" for Renewable Energy Sources in North-East Asia
  

The Energy Charter Secretariat, as partner in the project on a regional study "Gobitec and the Asian Super Grid" for renewable energy sources in North-East Asia, is issuing a call for tender to interested and qualified consultants in the field of regional electricity cooperation with relevant work experience in an international context.

The project partners are:

  • The Energy Charter Secretariat based in Belgium
  • The Energy Economics Institute of the Republic of Korea
  • The Ministry of Energy of Mongolia
  • The Japan Renewable Energy Foundation
  • The Energy Systems Institute of the Russian Federation

The core objective of the joint study is to provide countries in North-East Asia and the international community with reliable information and data concerning the potential of renewable energy sources in this region, stimulate the interest of the private sector and international investors, provide recommendations on how to maximise international and regional cooperation in order to promote the "Gobitec and the Asian Super Grid" initiative.

Interested consultants are invited to submit letters with expression of interest, CVs of their two proposed experts and financial quotes for proposed consultancy services to the Energy Charter Secretariat at asian.supergrid@encharter.org.
The submission deadline is 25 March 2013. Only shortlisted consultants will be contacted for further information.
